This isn't directly related to Dwight Frye, however it is related in the sense that it concerns the Universal horror series, which featured Dwight in a number of amazing roles. The blog listed above contains a wealth of information and images pertaining to classic horror, as well as a monthly radio show available for download which contains songs that were inspired by those glorious ghouls in black and white. Music.

"Dwight Frye: Dreams and Nightmares" will be featuring music on the community's homepage. Currently the featured song is a lovely 1930's rendition of the classical piece "Clair De Lune". A new and different song will be featured at regular intervals, so please be sure to periodically click on the embedded MP3 player at your left in order to listen to the featured piece.

I chose to not allow the player to automatically start when a person visits the community. My reason for this decision is that unlike "Ning" all of the content for the community will be available on the same page (i.e. you're not taken to a new page when you click to watch a video, for example) so if someone wishes to view a video, and the music player started automatically, they would have to then take time out to stop the player. The two features would clash. So I embedded the player without an automatic start up, therefore if you'd like to listen to music while browsing the community simply press play to begin the player.

Again, new music will be featured at regular intervals so check back often. As the seasons progress new songs will also be added for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. I hope that this feature will be enjoyed, as I felt it was quite nice when I added it at "Ning".

Launched in 1999, this site was created with the assistance of Dwight's son, Dwight David Frye. It is the definitive Dwight Frye website, providing the most accurate and detailed information that you will find on-line. Sadly, after the untimely passing of Dwight David the site was closed down. However it thankfully still exists through the internet archive. The first link is how the site appeared prior to Dwight David's passing. The second link is how it appeared after, and it includes a memorial written to Dwight David by James Coughlin, co-author of "Dwight Frye's last laugh".
