Once upon a time there was a girl....who could not forget that there was once upon a time.
And so began my love affair with the past, and with an actor named Dwight Frye. I first encountered Dwight when I was seven years old, and while I admired and loved him from that very first encounter it wasn't until the autumn of 2007 that I discovered his fandom on-line and decided to wholly devote myself to it. I have never looked back.
That same year I created my first tribute video to Dwight Frye and posted it to the popular video sharing website "You Tube". The video was far from being a masterpiece, but the song I chose conveyed exactly what I felt- Mazzy Star's "Fade into you". The piece had always reminded me of a vintage film theater where stars of the silver screen shined and where classic films were shown. Films that readily utilized that glorious flickering technique known as the fade.
Being a novice I had no idea how to work with film, and so instead had to use photographs. My original video can be viewed, if anyone would like to watch it, at the following link:

Two years, and a wealth of experience later, I decided to re-create my first video- producing it the way that I had originally envisioned it to be- complete with a vintage film effect to match the ethereal feel of the chosen song. This version can be viewed above.
May the silver screen forever fade into you.
